What is Bluetooth?

Bluetooth is a radio frequency based technology. It is how mobile phones, headsets, computers, personal digital assistants (PDA’s), and a broad selection of other devices can be easily interconnected using a short-range wireless connection. A device has to be Bluetooth enabled (i.e. contain a Bluetooth chip) to be able to use a Bluetooth connection.
